I really likes this trade for Houston
but also it is a great trade for NO.

    Asik/Davis frontcourt is great
One of the best in the league
and allows Davis to play ala Duncan in SA, Asik will do the dirty work.

    How about this:

    Harden for Love; Sign LeBron

    P.G. - Beverley
    S.G. - LeBron
    S.G. - Parsons
    P.F. - Love
    ..C. - Howard

    Sick lineup!

Love this trade for houston. Sure hope we don't have to trade this pick to have someone take lin off our hands!

I can see that as what happened. Being able to move Davis to the 4 should help keep him healthy but if he for some reason gets injured I see that being a top 10 pick. A possible lottery pick for a team that can possibly have a dominant big 3 is impressive, indeed a nice move by Morey.

Finally, we can get rid of those annoying Asik only fans.

If this deal does not go down until July 10th, can't we roll it into the sign and trade deal for Melo or LeBron? Include Lin in the deal, and we could offer up a sign and trade first year salary of $16.6 million + $5 million ($21.6 million) to the incoming free agent.

Yes...as per reports...it has reverse protections...And as Bima pointed out...last years West #8 seed was 21st pick...so if New Orleans hang around and does make the playoffs, we wont see the pick next year. If they remain a lottery team, we have a really high probability of nabbing that pick

And would be enough to land Lowry and possibly a very good bench player while still being under cap and having the exceptions to use.

That would be just as sweet as adding Lebron to me.

Per Feigen's latest posting - it reads the NO pick is only for next years pick with no rollover. Is that correct??

I personally don't like love he could never get the wolves above five hundred. He seems to like a stat accumulator ;)
