It’s pretty obvious what’s going on here imo....

Every team that is “out” of the Harden sweepstakes, is calling up their local reporters that carry water for their team. They’re telling them that “talks never went that far, so-and-so is untouchable and was never included in any offers, ect”....You’ve seen it with Miami and Denver recently.

It’s not that Houston doesn’t have any good offers for Harden. To the contrary....Houston probably has a really solid offer(or 2) on the table and other teams are realizing that they have no shot. So they’re saving face now with their own players. “Hey, of course we would never offer you in a trade! You’re untouchable in our eyes!”

See what Jalen Rose said...this has the potential to destroy locker rooms. Teams pivot to CYA mode when they realize a deal is not possible.

 

Have you ever had back issues? Man, it is an absolute killer in all things life. I have no problems with MPJ thinking and considering this at one time. The pain is damn near unbearable. You feel like it will never get better, so I can see him considering it.

Nope! I think we’re waiting to see if the team gels and for teams to meet our asking price. I think if there is a trade, it will be at the trade deadline.
