Why must I read through all these uninteresting Chris Paul comments just to find a link to this Adrian Woj interview? Compared to Woj, every posters opinion is worthless.

Make money from China? I think it is possible. The key is that Nets has DW, we do not have any star. He would like to come here if we have CP3, still this trade is not up to him right now after the Nets' deal was dead, so the rockets has a very good chance to get him right now, then figure out next step.

True we only have 2 picks to offer, but in the NBA it's not about the quantity of picks but the quality of picks. If Orlando had sent Dwight to the Nets the picks would have been no better than 15 - 32 since they probably would have been in the playoffs. Whereas our pick from Toronto is almost guaranteed to be in the top 10 at least.

Lottery picks are worth a lot to a rebuilding team. NJ for example once traded their 7th pick for the 13th, 18th and 23rd. The NJ deal's 3 future 1st rounders together doesn't come close to matching the value of Toronto's lottery pick. There's a reason why the Rockets were willing to give up Lowry for it.

If Orlando likes Bynum's health enough, and he gives signs that he's willing to stay, then nothing the Rockets give can compare to him. But compared to everyone else, that Toronto pick gives us a huge edge.

Rondo is a franchise player. I don't see him going anywhere.

Posted this on the other Dwight thread:

    ^ From this,

So if the Lakers had not traded their 4 picks to get Steve Nash, could it be that Dwight would have already been a Laker and Bynum a Magic?

They gave up what are likely to be really late draft picks. Not a big price.

No it wasn't.... look at what the Lakers have done with their late picks over the past decade. They hardly have anyone crack the rotation. Marc Gasol is the only one I can think of and he never even cracked their rotation.

When you are the Lakers you can just call up David Stern and tell him you need your next star. Who needs the draft?

    Jordan Farmar

Once upon a time, Luke Walton

I think they've trade away half of their picks.

Yes, Oracle! Going all in for Howard is better than a SQL of mediocrity.

...well Donald Sterling has one more Black History month to offend his star with before next summer. You never know.
