    I love that we moved all of our young inexperienced guys basically and focused on adding defensive minded vets that fit Mike D's system.

    Nene was the difference maker in the playoffs, if he doesn't go down... who knows where we finish the year. Great signing for great value. With Capela bulking up and Nene no nonsense attitude we should be pretty solid at the 5. Capela needs some more of that F' you attitude that Nene has on the court.

    When he had some rough games/injuries or lost minutes in the rotation because of coaches or just decisions (which Ne always was professional about) Washington fans made jokes about his surgery and questioned his strength, both physically and mentally, as a man. Cruel jokes.

    Mind you, he was diagnosed in Denver, but DC fans weren't always so nice to him. I don't know all of the stories, but I do know that he has very thick skin. However, when you mess with his kids, wife*, ethnicity and make fun of his health scare, he becomes very upset. That's natural for anyone.

    Apparently, Htown fans always want pics with him. I tease him for his smile and tell him to put some vaseline on his gums...that's because he's finally, finally happy. It's been years for him in the league. Years of injuries, bad coaches and disappointments. He has a voice in Houston, he says the guys respect and listen to him and that he's learning a lot. He's close to nearly everyone on the team, but he's got history with Trev. He and James have become close, too. We haven't discussed it too much (especially after today's shite) but NeNe's loyalty to his "brothers" is strong...so losing Wolverine is tough on him. Those two are our warriors, regardless of the score.

    Any chance wolverine pisses off the clippers and doc? Would love a reunion come mid season ala Josh Smith. He'd be great off the bench. I love chris paul but wolverine is the scariest guy to go against. He's the kind of guy i'd want having my back any time we play a game or go to war. If he can swip curry's legs a few times before paul finishes him off we'd be set.

    Glad this whole contract debacle got settled. I'm sure Nene is gonna retire here, hopefully with a chip!
    There's 0% chance on any of our players we traded this season to come back mid season (see Bogut last year). If anything it'd be next year.
