    And Houston should lose the Rockets because Houston is basically a suburb of Dallas, right? :rolleyes:

    I'm pretty sure Silver has been around long enough to form some pretty definite ideas about the value of divisions.

    Houston is the 4th largest city in America. Milwaukee is a dying Midwestern town. Basketball hasn't been relevant there for a long time, time to move

    I should have phrased that better. I'm basing that statement based on Zach Lowe's reporting that Silver and the competition committee plan on looking into whether or not divisions have run their course. He obviously already knows about them.

    It's only 90 miles from Chicago to Milwaukee instead of 240 between Dallas and Houston. A better analogy would have been between Houston and San Antonio which is about 195 miles apart but that still more than double the distance between Chicago and Milwaukee.
