I bet once someone beats the Rockets offer they will automatically make the trade without checking to see if the Rockets can add more to the offer. Due diligence, whatever.

It does because teams would offer more if they know he will re-sign.

Would love to see a team call a super star's bluff and dare them to walk away from a max length contract.

I never said he wanted to go there. I said they've made enough moves today to make a play for him.

I mean, its ridiculous that he demands to go to one team...what happened to the days where you play where you are drafted or traded to...and hope to lead that team to a championship?

Players are given way too much power these days. Just shut the F up and play. I hope the Magic GM plays hardball with him. Actually, as the GM, I'd probably hold onto him until the trade deadline. Make a suffer a little.

No ****. It's rediculous, absurd, and a dozen other adjectives one could toss in there. I'm totally sick of the egos teams have to deal with now. Howard is a pampered man-child who expects to have the world handed to him on a platter. Players like Luis Scola, who wears loyalty to his team on his shoulder like a badge of honor, are too few and far between. Having said that, if Howard ends up in Houston, I'll volunteer for a week of changing his diapers, even if I have to drive down from Austin to do so. He's that good if healthy, the selfish b*stard.

Okay so if Rockets don't make a move right now I would expect DHoward to team up with Josh Smith in ATL next year. Time to shoot for the stars right now....

Assuming Rockets land Asik in free agency.

    1st
Houston sends to Orlando: Lowry, Martin, Motiejunas
    Orlando sends to Houston: Dwight

    2nd:
Houston sends to Brooklyn: SnT Dragic, Scola, Lamb
Brooklyn sends to Houston: SnT Dwill

    3rd (at the trade deadline):
Houston sends to Atlanta: Omer Asik, Chandler Parsons, White
Atlanta sends to Houston: Josh Smith

    The perfect storm comes together...

I'd be willing to throw in Terrance Jones in one of the deals if a team is hesitating to pull the trigger

Why will they question his hiring, isn't it obvious Dwight was going to be traded this offseason and get rid of the diva who got the coach and gm fired?

Nets back in to win it.

    Chris Broussard ‏@Chris_Broussard
Sources: The Nets & Magic are discussing a trade that would send Dwight Howard to Brooklyn for Briik Lopez, Kris Humphies, Marshon Brooks...
    Chris Broussard ‏@Chris_Broussard
    (con't) and the Nets' first-round picks in 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2018....move would give Nets Big 3 of D-Will, Dwight & Joe Johnson
    Chris Broussard ‏@Chris_Broussard
Of course, that should be BROOK Lopez instead of Briik Lopez

Just started a thread. :/ guess I'll fall in line with the other million DH thread starters. Whoops.

If Howard goes too Brooklyn after his antics and behavior...
Ya.. What does that say about the league and players.

Doesn't bold well for the future and how a team can keep a player, control a player as far as insubordination and disgruntled.

Just sad DH gets what he wants in the end.

Guess Booklyn has the best OFFER

    What is Morey doing

    On the phone: hello Atlanta

Well... DH is in Brooklyn so... Y'all clearing the cap for the hometown kid ailed.

    We failed...

How about Josh Smith to Houston.

Kevin Martin and pick a few puppies out the bag.
