SVG and TVG already have coaching jobs, JVG interviewing for Houston. How come MVG can't even get any interest?

It's stupid to waste tens of millions on players etc and lowball for a couple million on the coach who can get them to achieve success, thereby maximizing the investment elsewhere.

    So, yep, you're probably right

Cause every proffesional saw what some of us saw for last 2 years. This dude barely coach anymore I think selecting Lucas wouldnt even change anything in the way we play

Right. Micheaux didn't stick in the NBA for very long. So Larry Smith was definitely more well-known in the NBA (and with the Rockets) than him. But anybody who went through the Phi Slama Jama years probably has more fond memories of Micheaux.

He's been gone way longer than that.

    It's been like 4 months.

He posted back before the bubble season began that Harden had Covid but that was it

Kenny Atkinson to Clippers I really wanted him as the assistant coach with JVG. That way u had ELITE offense/defense SMH

Dude is already on the payroll - if it is Lucas, leave it as long as possible!

But, $idenote, Luca$ might not even need to be replaced. Yeahhhhh baby LT$

Fan$ are there to pay his bill$.

Bigboss can just blame the players for voting in the coach anyway... "lesson learned" will be his public message, while privately "haha - $$$$ AND I got out of paying my son his allowance by giving him some of Morey's old income" (picture Scrooge diving into his gold silo)

Maybe Tilman is simply not going to name a head coach. Innovative in a way even Morey did not see coming.

Maybe Tillman will just let Lucas stay in his current role and have Harden be player-coach like Russel back in the day. He probably figures 40M is enough for both roles. Shrewd move.

I don’t think there are any coaching jobs on the market currently outside of Houston and OKC.
    NO: Stan Van Gundy
    LAC: Ty Lue
    PHI: Doc Rivers
    IND: Bjorkgren
    Nets: Steve Nash
    HOU:???
    OKC: ???
