Only person worst for this team is byron scott, itll be hilarious if they dodge the jb bullet only to interview and hide Byron Scott lol. Hilarity will ensue!

"After a meeting with ownership and the front office on Tuesday" . . . he's not a moron, he could read the writing on the wall. I'm sure he was basically told he was not going to be seriously considered.

Good for Morey and Les that they didn't send JB mixed signals. At least they were honest. It's a start.

I don't get the elation. I feel for JB, but I also think he dug his own grave. I wish him the best, but people are treating him like he's Scottie Pippen 2.0

Don't worry...Byron Scott hates his teams shooting 3s. NO WAY (I hope) he gets hired here.

Damnit. I'm pretty sure he almost had an inbounds play figured out. Too bad.

I don't think J.B. is a bad coach at all. He was put in a tough situation.

I hope he gets another shot and is successful.

He is a bad coach at this time. He has the potential to grow, but he isn't ready right now. Having said that, it's not a good look for the organization for him to withdraw as a candidate. Hopefully they told him to hit the bricks behind the scenes, because if they didn't, it's a pretty damning indictment on the state of the Rockets. We'll probably never know one way or the other!

JB is trying to figure out where Brewer ends up. He will be the towel boy if it means being closer to Brewer.

He is a bad head coach. He may be better off just teaching as an assistant.

I am pretty sure JBB already knew they wouldn't want him, so he bailed. I do think the media will turn this into something against the Rockets.

Organization letting him save face instead of "firing" him.

But Brewer is a star!!! He's so special, you just can't see it the way JBB does. Not his fault.
