Detroit is just doing their due diligence…they have Suggs coming in for a private workout and are looking to schedule one with Mobley too…Rockets will be having Suggs and Mobley come in as well for a workout

doesn’t mean that Cade isn’t almost definitely being taken 1st overall by Detroit, and I’m not seeing the reasoning for him to want to make Detroit sweat when Detroit has the 1st overall pick

I'm late, but this Jalen Green dude is super attractive. If Rockets pick him, he will be the most attractive guy to wear the jersey since Chandler Parsons. look at this dude's hair.. wow.

He's going to be a more athletic, a better shooting Bradley Beal with a Mamba mentality to boot.

I mean, that's the plan no matter what happens....or rather it would be if I had living grandparents and if basements were a thing in Houston.

I'm sure I'll work something out.

There are some that are so desperate to be right so that they can log into clutchfans in 20 years and say "See? I knew he would become an All-Star" as if that gives them some kind of expert/professional credential. Like, you hopped on the bandwagon of one of the top 3 prospects and got it right? You're definitely took a risk there!

It doesn't matter where you're selected. Organizations do matter a whole lot. Manu Ginobili was the 57th pick.

There have been reports of Detroit enamored with Mobley.

    Posted on this very board.

Just because you're out to lunch doesn't mean it didn't happen.

The top 4 picks will limit their team workouts and do so as close to draft as possible, this is normal.

Even Jalen Green did not get an in person workout with DET.

    Or with the Rockets!

Fair enough. The only article I recall that mentioned they were looking at Mobley was something Sports Illustrated posted a few days after the *lottery. I chalked that up to Detroit trying to by savvy and determining if they would get any god father offers.

Unless you can link a more recent article I have not seen Mobley and Detroit connected in the last 2 weeks. Most of the reports that are coming out of Detroit are either 1. Cade is their clear cut choice or 2. They are intrigued by Jalen Green.

    But I digress

Kobe was a cocky diva who forced his way to the Lakers.

LeBron, arguably one of the GOATs, is a cocky diva

You don't need to tell me. And we're going to see more than a few players picked later in this draft who will make many GMs slap their foreheads later: "I could've had a V-8!"

Green is our boy, UNLESS we manage a trade-up for Cade. A selection of Mobley would cause us no dismay but 't'would be a jaw-dropping moment.

Isn't it fun to at least have a major horse in this race? Do you take Seabiscuit? War Admiral? Secretariat? (Or, if you're bobbythegreat, will we take a "pacing horse" [Green])? :D

Is there really a chance the pistons pass on Cade?

I noticed people who prefer Mobley think they’re Albert Einstein and they believe people who prefer Green are misinformed and unenlightened
