It's time to summon Sam Dekker back and there you go we have the deadly Wisconsin combo.

    I already regret it!

I understand and like Garuba too but Bruno provides one thing this team doesn't have (other than tiny KMj) and that's a rim-running lob threat!
Garuba doesn't have the "hops" for that and never will!

Need that for teams that front the big men or double team and "blitz" the driver!

    Rox getting 2 seconds.

    Great trade.

Bruno and Garrison are guys Rox got on the free agent market, any time you can take something for free and turn them into actual assets thats a dub.

I have no clue who Justin Holiday and Frank Kaminsky are but they are likely sub tier caliber players like Matthews and Bruno. Most likely there will be no change in production.

    For the Hawks.

Bruno and Matthews are on unguaranteed contracts.

Bird and Bruno were knee jerk signings anyway.

The player that has the upside in the deal is Bruno and we just gave him away for cheap. The OKC second rounders have minimal value.

I wasn't blown away by his upside, but assuming he is about to break out, will he be better than Sengun? They can't be on the floor at the same time, so 11 to 12 minutes is his ceiling. Also, I feel that rim running 6"10 guys who can't create a shot are a dime a dozen.

After looking over stats, I will concede that Bruno was the best player in the deal, but not even the Hawks want him for his talent, they want him for his expiring contract. I don't think a time will come in the future where anybody in this forum says they wish we still had Bruno.

What do you think would have been fair value for Bruno?

He’s a pretty limited offensive player outside of lob threat. There are a good amount of those guys in the league and they don’t go for that much.

Bruno can catch dunks, but he's mostly bad and undersized. He wouldn't be an answer to any of the Rockets problems.

I would keep him because I think his production on court is greater than his trade value. It’s difficult to find a back up big in the FA market that can match production with that price.

I'd rather play Usman Garuba. Bruno is what he is and always will be.
