Harden was super saiyan MVP caliber with Rockets, then in first season with Nets pre-injury was getting mentioned as MVP candidate with KD being that as well and taking more of the bigger pie just like Embiid is doing

Now with Embiid being what Harden was in Houston he is the MVP finalist while Harden still put up MVP PG numbers as well, not saying Harden should win the award at present time but his numbers would get votes based on team record, but not enough to crack top 3

When Sixers are in a tight game then they should go to Embiid, no different than when with Nets they would go to KD, but Harden was still playing at elite level getting 20+ and around 11 dimes

I never said Harden should win MVP or he is Houston version, I said his stats with one of the best records in conference would be worthy to get MVP votes and his first season with Nets he was playing at MVP level before the injuries n drama, and a year and some change later injuries have been knocking at his door yet he still puts up 20+/10+ dimes, with Embiid and Maxey

That is what makes Sixers dangerous in playoffs, they have two MVP caliber players
