I gave up on James a few seasons ago, which is why I wasn't all that upset when we chose to pass on him.
It's crazy that so many want to go back to old players that we know damn well won't get us over the hump. I understand we need a point/offense initiator with FVV out but man... pick a different path.
People are desperate, I don't blame them, when James is on his game he truly does make players better. The issue always has been that he can't handle the type of defensive pressure they throw at him in the playoffs. We've seen so many drunk James performances over the years that I don't understand how people want to have him back. Now that I've gotten a taste of Durant and his issues, I'm just ready to move on and start building with whoever. I really don't know after the performances this season.
