If this ownership will offer Harden a contract to comeback and its not one of those a dallar for a day to retire deals, it will be the biggest laughing stock of all sports.
After 2 years of tanking, we still have KPJ taking on the role of leading playmaker, we have one of the shittiest coaches I have ever seen in professional sports, we don't have any resemblance of a team identity, we have one of the most garbage players in the league playing heavy backup PG minutes, and we continually marginalize two of our 3 best young players (and for KPJ of all players). You damn right I am getting desperate to get the ship righted at this point.
Ask CyberX. Now, or later, Harden will be back with Rockets in some capacity. Harden now is a better teammate than he was with the Rockets. I'd do it if he pass the physical.
Yea I’m sure all the other NBA teams that will throw the max at him will be laughing at us if he returns.
Pretty sure the Nets and Wolves will still have that title, but hey... you are always free to find another team to root for if we do sign Harden and bring him back.
Because we are rebuilding…. This team was never meant to be in the play in game with our current roster. Speaking of casuals….. let’s not pretend that the Sixers haven’t been disappointing in the playoffs. Harden is still a great player…. But to potentially drop $250 million for the last part of his prime and his twilight should give you much pause.
You’re right it’s improbable, no one of that calibre would even want to play here outside of Harden. OLADIPO doesn’t even want to play here.
Play-in games? LOL Looks like another Texan fan here wearing his AFC South Champ T-shirt from the Matt Schaub era so desparately cheering for another washed up player to come back.
Did I say we were trying to compete? No Did I say we plan to win this year? No Did I even say to go out and get Harden this year? No Alright then.
We don’t even know if Harden wants to play with a bunch of young players or if he’s using us for leverage in contract negotiations. Lol at Oladipo. Only fools think the Rockets were actually going to keep him.
And yet you seem to be confused to why the Rockets are still leaning on KPJ so heavily …..it’s like you don’t understand what’s going on Alright alright
When was the last time a star actually wanted to be here for reasons other than to play with someone we already had? TMac stayed for Yao. Artest literally dipped the minute Yao went down. Howard wanted to play with Harden. CP3 wanted Harden. Westbrook wanted Harden. Wall wanted Harden.
Anyone with an iota of intelligence would be confused as to why we are still leaning on KPJ instead of trying to develop Green, Sengun, Jabari, and TyTy. No one was expecting us to win, but we were all expecting some sort of system to be implemented to help develop the players we did draft in hopes of being on the team.
