Ah **** just wrote 2 paragraphs and lost it....anyways
I do agree with you Harden stat wise is top 3 player of all times, dude changed the game forever...but he lacks leadership, he is inconsistent on defense and he had maybe 2 playoff games that he decided

Quite frankly it doesnt matter when the Rockets make a trade. This team is done. All you can do is hold Harden and give Wall a chance. Maybe something happens.

Tilman is toxic. Only players we can expect to get are those who are looking to make a buck.

    You're backtracking big time.

And all your caveats make your point more muddled and nonsensical.

    Just take your L.

Outside of a ridiculously good ensemble cast, there is no way KD or LeBron, or anyone in the league for that matter, can win a title with Westbrook as their second best player. Everyone forgot how bad AD was on his own? Or how LeBron didn't even make the playoffs in the West without a Top 10 player beside him? Or how the Warriors were absolutely horrific without Klay, even with Steph?

The year Harden come to camp in shape is the year he demands a trade - go figure.

he might avg 40 the first half of the season before he’s traded. Better for the rockets and their potential package.

exactly, even lebron needed 2 all-stars for help and kd needed 3. that's how it is in a superteam world.

Harden is a moron, he proved that when he destroyed the Rockets by forcing them to trade for Westbrook.

That's really all we need to know about him. He's actually as toxic as some think Fertitta is.

Also remember the version of WB KD played with is far better than what Harden got last year. Far more athletic and not injured, and WB's game is all about his athleticism.

Idk, Morey's exit and quick signing with the 76ers speaks volume to how shtty it must be working with Fertitta as the owner.

All i have to say is when harden leaves, we are not gonna find many superstars coming to the rockets unless we draft/trade for one.

I do think beating the Lakers is going to be hard for any team, but Harden at least gets you in the discussion depending what players show up around him. And I like the odds better with Harden than no Harden is all, and the trade packages hopefully get better as the season goes on because if they don't, it's going to be back to what it was like before Harden got here.

Basically not the excitement we had while he was here - ie thinking back to 94 and 95 and then all the what ifs before/after those years (before Harden), then Harden got here and there at least was excitement for the playoffs. I mean in 2018 that's the absolute closest to winning it all since Hakeem's b2b.

Also, regardless of what happens, I'm not going to quit watching the team/bandwagon follow Harden. I'm just saying not to rush to make a trade for the sake of doing it is all. There will be more packages I'm sure.

Stone NEEDS to use those FRPs and make at least ONE more upgrade to starting 5.

Trade for AARON GORDON for the luva Pete!
