If Les was low class like Cuban, he could fire back with an instagram picture with a ring on each middle finger and go "You were saying?"
Cuban's bs with Parsons is infuriating when you consider that he probably did the thing under the table with Fegan even before Parsons was being the best SF in the Blazers series. Pretty damn easy to proclaim victory when you cheat and break rules without any consequence.
Cuban agreeing with me. No people skills and all math Morey. You see what people on here don't get is, people didn't turn against Morey overnight. It's little stuff that's been happening over the years that piss some of us. He likes to power trip and treat people like assets then hide cowardly and respond months late.
If this is true, f Chandler for the way he talks about the Rockets in interviews. I have a feeling that Cuban has been courting Chandler and working on this for more than we think.
Yeh, I don't get the whole 'money being equal and Chandler chose the Mavs...'? Obviously the money wasn't equal, we chose not to match... had we been willing to pay 'equal money' he'd still be a Rocket... Not speaking to any organization preference - thems the rules on restricted free agency... stupid comment by Cuban....
It was Cuban who didn't think Steve Nash had anything left in the tank and didn't bring him back. The two-time MVP that could have gotten the Mavericks at least one more ring than they have now. It was Cuban who stupidly held onto Beaubois thinking that he was the 2nd coming of Tony Parker and did not want to include him in a trade for Carmelo Anthony. It was Cuban who couldn't get any big name free agent to bite in the summer of 2010 who ended up dealing for Tyson Chandler as a consolation prize. It was Cuban, and NOT the new CBA, who let Tyson Chandler walk only to then bring on Odom and Vince Carter for a combined $13 million. What's funny is that they could have kept Tyson Chandler and still had enough room to sign Vince Carter and another player as Cuban decided (one year too late) to use the Amnesty on Haywood. Cuban might have his one championship but he's done more damage than good at getting his team to the promise land.
This all you need to know about Mark Cuban in regards to matching offers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Nash Steve Nash was already a two time All-NBA Third Team by the 2004 Free Agency. The Rockets didn't match an offer on Chandler Parson, who is potentially a future, fringe all-star player. Mark Cuban did not match an offer for Steve Nash, who went on to win 2 NBA MVP's. Even if you chalk up the fact that no one would have predicted Steve Nash would go on to be an MVP caliber player, you can't discount the fact that Nash was already star player, which is highly doubtful that Chandler Parson will ever become.
Cuban is definitely threatened by the Rockets and Morey. Trash talking in the media is just part of a strategy to either divert talent from the Rockets or draw it to the Mavs. Either way, he knows his organization is less competitive against the Rockets. And Morey is right in that the Rockets are the easy target because talking such smack about the Spurs would just make Cuban look foolish. By targeting the Rockets, Cuban can at least piggy back on existing media criticism. But this is typical Cuban hypocrisy and bombastic hot air. He's a funny ass.
Look brahs, I'm not saying Cuban is innocent but he's fighting fire with fire in a battle that Morey started. Asking about Dirk for Howard. Have you no decency?
