So many different things this could mean... This could signal a full on rebuild where they blow it all up It also could signal that they're trading these picks for another piece Or it could be Westbrook plus these picks for some package deal...Westbrook and picks for Griffin and Christian Wood? Now I'm just dreaming. Whatever it ends up being, the only thing we know for sure is that this move makes no sense on it's own. This is the first domino to fall in some series of moves. Just gonna have to wait and find out.
This is some good **** The last time we wanted to tank but couldn't - we used guile and GM savvy to land a galactic legend in Harden. Now, just 2 years removed from having the best team, having been consistently good to great for 8 seasons and still at the edge of Harden's prime, we head right from at least fringe contender status... to the tank. I think we may not be as lucky this time.
You guys will be sad when he flips these picks just to get rid of Westbrook. holy hell not even the Red Rowdies will attend games
I think this is an appropriate response to the state of the Houston Rockets.... ....... ....... .......
Could have rebuilt and kept RoCo, his salary was exceptionally good value. RoCo is still 29 and in his prime and would have complemented almost ANY player the Rockets brought in. Ra-fel is the f'ing devil.
yeah all 3 of them are going to be gone. I just meant who's gonna be next up. Plenty of good teams will want PJ, especially on a cheap expiring that's even non guaranteed
Harden and Westbrook are gone. You don’t trade the 2nd best player on the team in Hardens prime if you are trying to win. They better take the Phili offer that will come for Harden. Simmons and picks is a great place to start your rebuild.
Here’s a full mock from the athletic to get familiar with the prospects. I personally would love Hampton https://theathletic.com/2198283/202...iseman-anthony-edwards-live-updates-team-fit/
It makes no sense to use assets to get rid of WB in full rebuild mode. It doesn't make sense from a pure money perspective either. No way this happens.
