Man. Sad start to the gutting of the team. This year is really the worst year for everything in Houston.
I like ROCO. Wish we had got him back sooner or kept him in the first place. For Two Picks was a good trade. Hopefully we are taking the Philly Deal for Harden.
Looking past what we traded to get RoCo, this is not a bad trade at all to start our rebuild. 16th pick and a future first is a good pickup. Stone showing some promise in his first trade.
Harden: "Wait a minute... so we're NOT playing defense this year? Well, that changes everything! I'm in!"
Rockets gave up capela who is worth at least a mid first round pick and their own first round pick for covington. In a sense they broke even with this trade. I don't hate the trade, but it happening means, rocket definitely have to trade harden now. If he already wasn't happy with the team, I doubt he'll be when he finds out the 2nd or 3rd most important player on the team was traded for draft picks.
idk you guys thinking this is specifically for the rebuild? Westbrook might be out the door but this gives us possibly some assets to get for players with Harden possibly. Roco for two picks and an ariza is not bad tbh some good assets to make deals
Ariza is probably cut, if he isnt traded for something. If im not mistaken, only 1.8 millions of his 12.8 is guaranteed next season
Two mid-first rounders? For a proven 3&D guy? Forgive me for not being thrilled. Covington was a difference maker on D during these playoffs, and he's not expensive. Now in return we'll get two players who will end up in the G-League.
I wonder if PJ and or Gordon could bring back a low - mid first round pick as well? Could possibly package the pick with Westbrook to move up to #3
All of them. PJ can be traded alone but the timing of Harden and Russ trades will be key... Ah, screw it. I can't take this seriously. I hate the owner and this whole thing sucks. I guess the good news is I'll save money by not buying NBATV this year.
