Shumpert's not great, but we really need depth. As a reserve, providing defense and (maybe) some shooting is decent value. I don't think we'll get much better for the NGCs.

have you ever seen him play? he is worse than shumpert by far. You think shumpert cant shoot?

you people need to play hardcore fantasy basketball for a couple years. You will learn about the entire league and player flaws. Henderson is garbage. Shumpert is serviceable and on a tradeable contract. We cant add henderson. He wouldn't then be a good trade filler. Too small of a deal.

Why would this deal be taking so long to finalize? This is the calm before the storm, Morey is lining up his pieces.

Are you just trolling at this point? I've seen you post this same ridiculous statement probably 100 times on every thread in the past 24 hours.

Those numbers are a bit off, per these guidelines...

    $0 to $6,533,333 --- 175% of the outgoing salary, plus $100,000
$6,533,334 to $19.6 million --- The outgoing salary plus $5 million
$19.6 million and up --- 125% of the outgoing salary, plus $100,000

That would mean Kelly, Taylor, Long, and Quarterman can fetch up to $9,751,360...
    • ($5,515,063 x 1.75) +$100,000 = $9,751,360

Adding in Onuaku's would bump outgoing salaries to $6,827,674 which is then subject to the +$5,000,000 buffer...
    • $6,827,674 + $5,000,000 = $11,827,674

Then adding Anderson's $19,578,454 would make the sum worth $33,107,660...
    • (($6,827,674 + $19,578,454) x 1.25) + $100,000 = $33,107,660

Please good sir, tell us more about how fantasy sports teaches the true meaning of basketball. Clearly GMs and coaches and worthless people who say stuff like "good fit" know nothing. You, good sir, know.. because you play HARDCORE fantasy NBA. Are you also good at sex because you play HARDCORE p*rn on your computer?

You clearly forgot about that. Morey (and i'm a big fan of Daryl) himself said multiple times Corey was a great defender, which is something i never understood since i always saw an actually bad defender in Brewer, always out of position, constant gambling with steals, not able to contain his opponent most of times...yeah, a pretty bad defender.

I hope Morey is trying to get a pick out of the Cavs...or Felder (if he's good, i don't really know). But i don't think he will...maybe a 2nd...

It was probably just in passing to sell the deal. Anyone with a smidgen of basketball IQ would know he wasnt. Shumpert isnt quite as good a defender post knee injury. But he definitely is bench serviceable. And his contract is perfect as an expiring next year to deal for a 3rd star .

It helps you learn weaknesses IE. Inefficiency in players games. It really helps you learn players games when you are looking for multiple categories and efficiency.

Cant believe someone would actually try to argue the point of knowing more about players game and weaknesses doesnt lead to more knowledge overall. Gerald Henderson is not what we want. He is the opposite of a player we need.
