Woj: Chris Paul “Less likely than likely” to Return for Game 7

If Paul doesn't play, our chances are slim. Maybe even if he does try to play at less than 100%. We have a punchers chance, maybe land a knock out blow, but the talent gap is huge. Surely, Curry and Thompson won't shoot like that in consecutive games. But, Durant could rain threes on us. Likely have to play the defensive game of the year with the bench having their best game of the year as well. It is possible, just not that amped up about it. I am really discouraged after last night. With a healthy Paul that was a winnable game. I think he would have kept the team from falling apart in the second half.

 

I’m well aware of what flopping is. Curry and Nick Young provide more than enough evidence for you to be so knowledgeable on the topic.

I’m sure if the refs did their job properly, you’re aware that GS would be no better than the Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker -led Celtics. Not to mention Draymond would probably be sitting at home the entire playoffs from excessive technicals and flagrant 2 fouls for his affinity with punting testicles. Without moving screens and dirty plays, GS wouldn’t have all those open shots. And as evident in this series, GS really isn’t all that when they get D’d up. In fact, GS is actually the one that needs the refs to be remotely as heralded as the media portrays them to be. It’s sad really. 4 all-stars and the result is just jumpshooters via illegal screens.

Pro tip: don’t complain about refs when that’s what your team’s success depends on.
If the GS games were reffed properly, this series would be over by now with GS only having 1 win.

 

It’s a good outlet for me until game 7. Just looking to vent after the terrible officiating.

When Harden is getting clobbered and pushed and grabbed, with NO CALLS, he is going to have turnovers. Anyone see any refs in town? They are probably in hiding.

I believe we will win game 7 with or without Paul... and I'm honestly not sure if I think we have any better of a chance with him forcing his way back if he's not feeling at least like 85%.

 

Hell, Luc's injury alone is at least as meaningful to our team as Iggy's has been for theirs (and Luc has been hurt all series).

Really it comes down to “what if” would we have already ended the series if we never released Bobby Brown?, it’s hard to say really.

If BOS can go to the finals without Kyrie and Hayward than HOU should be able to go to the finals without CP3

Maybe. We are exhausted, injured and overall less talented. Celtics/Cavs fans would much prefer to see us. I think any series with us vs. Cavs/Celtics would be more competitive at this point.
