    Hayward is way too big of a risk for me to touch. If Boston wants to give up Brown for Capela, I’d be game. Otherwise, no deal.

    I’m happy they are back guys, but let’s not get all “ YES, they said no one wants to play in Houston but look at this!!! “ about bench players.

    Very similar player in value to Patrick Beverley (Better on-ball defender too), and we got him for 1/7 the price... 27 years old.

    Austin Rivers is a quality backup shooting guard for any team, especially a playoff contender.

    Rivers was everything we asked out of him and much much more. He also just took less money to stay with us during an off season where the media attempted to break into us.

    So who would have been a better signing at the same amount in lieu of Rivers, in your opinion? Remember that the market this year just gave Ish Smith $6 million a year and Seth Curry $8 million a year and Satoransky $10 million a year.

    Rivers was out blasting the media story that CP3 and Harden were done playing with each other as fake news. He is a glue guy.

    I agree with you but i'd still like to see if something like:

    Capela and Gordon
    for
    Hayward and Brown (plus maybe a pick?)

    ...is available and if we can sign a guy like Cauley/Noel/Looney.
