How funny it would be if PHX trades markeiff and Marcus becomes depressed in PHX.

Which is the truth. There is no way Smith re-signs in Milwaukee

This could work out for the Rockets too.

Would he want to stay in Milwaukee?

Use cap room on Dwight and then use Lin in a S&T for Smith from the Bucks when Jennings is holding out for a max contract.

It would be pretty easy to say goodbye to Parsons for Smith if we knew we could sign Smith for less than a max contract (and if he could play SF). Parsons has a great contract and seems to be a good chemistry guy. I just think he's hit his ceiling and Smith would help our team more. Also, Parsons will get a big raise in a few years and then his contract won't be so favorable.

If they give him a max contract I could see him resigning.

i could even see us playing TRob for stretches at center. God knows he can defend bigs a lot better than Greg Smith. Maybe he won't completely blow rotational assignments.

Oh god please NO. Josh Smith is not worth it and we'll lose a center, something we've wanted and cried for since Yao left.

He will if they're dumb enough to give him a max contract.

Even if Morey was in on this, we would never know. We are the most secretive team in the league when it comes to trades.

All of them come out of nowhere.

That would be AMAZING, but I really doubt they would give up Sanders.

    T-Jones + Garcia + picks isn't that weak. T-Jones can become a great player.

The declaration that Thomas Robinson wasn't available to be traded was rooted in the logistics (reporting etc.) & not CBA. It is possible.

    Zach Lowe ‏@ZachLowe_NBA
Just to clarify again: HOU is free to re-route Robinson, provided they finish the trade (physicals, reporting, etc) in time. That's unlikely

I think that paragraph that somebody posted says he can only be traded individually, but not with aggregated salaries. So he can't be traded for Josh Smith because their salaries are too far apart.
