RIP I don't know how rare it is for an owner, but people working for him and including his players have consistently beamed about how great a guy he is. He did a lot for the city of DC and local charities. Antawn Jamison was really holding back tears in his immediate post win on-court interview talking about how Abe is in heaven watching and that he would have wanted the Wizards to go out and play hard. <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZfZK8p0afeE&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZfZK8p0afeE&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object> Remembering Abe Pollin parts 1 and 2 <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/b-QsaAY8lyc&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/b-QsaAY8lyc&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XXIXw5XyrcQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XXIXw5XyrcQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Arenas nearly blew that game with poor shot selection down the stretch and an untimely 6th turnover with about 27 seconds to play. Lou Williams came that close to putting a dagger through D.C.
