Wizards offerering teams anybody but Wall if they take Blatche

    Andray Blatche is
    ​
    the most untradable player in the league. Between his horrible contract, his poor play on the court and his cancerous attitude, I would literally take ANY other NBA player over him. Getting McGee for taking on Blatche just isn't worth it. Hell, I'd have to think about getting Lebron or Howard if it meant taking on Blatche. (Just partly kidding about the last part.)

    He might not have a high bball iq but you don't need high iq to grab rebounds and hit the outlet player...at 2 million for a 7 footer who wouldn't lob a phone call

    If you want mcgee, apparently you have to take 2 r****ds, no thanks.


    Worth taking a flier, nothing more. Wouldn't give up much of anything, but certainly worth a call.

    Anyone who even remotely thinks about taking on Blatche anything on the Wiz roster (even Wall) seriously knows nothing about this guy, and his poisonous contract.

    The fact that they haven't used the amnesty clause on him yet in Washington shows that their ownership/management has no idea what they are doing. They shouldnt amnesty Lewis because they have a minimum salary they have to be at anyways, and he only has one more year left on his deal. Blatche should be playing somewhere south of the border very very soon.

    If we have to take in Blatche I would not do any deal. I would like the PF shot freed up for Patterson and D-Mo

    would you take blatche, rashard and their first round pick? for all our 09ers and who ever to make the salaries match? it would be disgusting to have those 2 bloated contracts but to get a high pick after not being able to trade up and always staying around the 14th pick id consider it

    McGee is a restricted free agent. So you'd have control on him, but someone could overpay him and then you either match a bloated deal, or you don't and you're saying "Good morning" to Andray Blatche at practice every day. It's hard to say how McGee is going to pan out. His height, leaping ability and wingspan are so tempting, but there are a lot of players who didn't pan out because they have nothing between the ears.

    Would be interesting to see if someone bites. I would guess it might take Wall to dump Blatche's contract, which shows you how valuable a cautious, penny-pinching, flexibility-hoarding GM like Daryl Morey can be. One hideous contract could set you back years.

    Wall and their unprotected pick are the only things anyone would want for the inconvenience of taking Blatche off their hands. And on top of that, they might have to take on a dead weight or two just to sweeten the pot. I'd just amnesty Blatche if I were them to save some trouble.

    Scola + Martin for Blatche and their pick unprotected. Then find some way to reach a buyout with Blatche.
