Same here. Lee needs more playing time. Adelman needs to fix his rotations and Morey needs to work on a trade for Melo or Iguodala. This Rockets team needs some help. Too many players with too little playing time. This is bad when you need to get into a rhythm.

Okay I'm I missing something, he is still shooting crappy and Melo had his best game of the year in that Hornets game? I understand he may be a better defender then Shane but there has been nothing to prove the Rox made a mistake in moving him, YET. I actually think highly of Trev and think he will eventually excel in NOLA with Paul but I would wait a while before jumping on the Ariza bandwagon.

The point is that Ariza is better than Lee, and even if he isn't, we are talking about a starter over a bench player.

The real point is that Ariza is A LOT better than Battier. Shane is pretty much useless on the court right now.

Rockets would be better with Brooks/Martin/Ariza than Brooks/Martin/Battier.

Rockets traded a starter for a bench player, who does that???

The point is that with Ariza not knowing his role anymore, thinking he's a star, does not belong on this team.

How much freaking better would we be with Ariza? You make it sound like he'd be our sole hero if he was on this team. Get real.

Battier is NOT the problem. and Ariza is NOT the answer.

    That, sir, is the point.

Ariza played like a moron in first game. I didn't watch their second game but Ariza was a garbage in game 3 of the season against Spurs

They give him a lot of freedom to shoot his brick shots. He had a couple of turnovers. Then he tried to guard Manu and Ginobili played pretty good, had 12 points in a half.

In a second half Trevor switched on RJ and Jefferson burned his ass with 16 points in a half and send him a postercard with pretty nice dunk on Ariza. He almost owned him in that play

No way I wanna this idiot back to our team

And Yes He is the main reason why Hornets have won 3 in a row with his average D and 10 points on less then 39% from the field with 7 turnovers and 4|13 from 3PT line

    MVP, b+tch!

Are you really out of your mind?

watch games, not a stats, even when they are ridiculous tooo

Ariza would've cost the Rox around 8 mil if you include the luxury tax. Is he worth that versus Courtney Lee on a rookie contract?

The point is Ariza isn't a cancer, and teams CAN win with him.

The idiots pushing that idea just had an agenda.

    That said, I prefer Lee.

And yet they pay Brad Miller $15 for 3 years...

Why are you care about the luxury tax? Is it your money? Why should the front office even worry about the tax if supposedly 'all chips are in' like they have been advertising?

Rockets always get rid of the players who have heart with their athletism... Francis, Artest, Wafer, Ariza it's crazy. I was ticked when Ariza trade went down but seeing how Lee plays i see why basketball wise a trade like this you do. Afterwards how felt we needed to get rid of Battier or put him on the bench but since we didn't do that the trade looks bad right now not to mention being 0-3 and Battier not doing anything significant on either side of the court. Saying all that this right here is another situation where we have to wait till the end of the season and playoffs to see where things stand at that point.

I told you all that this would happen. I didn't think we would be 0-3 though. With Ariza, our starting line-up would have been complete with the return of Yao. As it stands, we have somewhat of a glaring hole within our starters(SF). This is why Iguodala is not only a good solution, he is the best solution because he is like Ariza, but better. Even a better solution than Melo.

Carmelo only hit 8 of 20 shots against the Rockets while hitting 10 of 17 against the Hornets.

The Nuggets as a team hit almost 49% of their shots against the Hornets while hitting only 37% percent against the Rockets.

    Who's defense was better?

Ariza this season is hitting 38% of his shots and 30% from the arc and over 2 turn overs a game.

Courtney Lee is shooting over 50% and averaging 0 turnovers while playing good defense.

Give me Courtney Lee over Trevor Ariza any day.

I didn't understand the trade, I admittedly don't know much about Lee but I thought when you had martin and ariza on the court it was a great sg/sf combo. I don't get it
