With Tracy McGrady as our #1 guy, we are going nowhere

i wont hate on any of my players...no matter how pissed i am at (some) atm, i can not just look at one night and look past all they achieved for me and their other fans, if they are scrubs...hell, they're our SCRUBS

 

Without Mcgrady, the whole team falls apart. If someone asked you who holds the Rockets together, I'm sure we'd all say Mcgrady. Sure, Yao is there, but he doesn't impact the court like Tracy does.

 

It was 2nd half for sure.....I think right after our run to get close then they ran away again.

Yep found it but he was not talking to Tmac, but the referee....in the 4th quarter with 6:32 left he turns his head and it looks like he goes...F You.

I don't think you understand the point of the comments surrounding the defence of T-Max. the delusions are that many of the haters on the board treat T-Mac as if he were the devil, despite his playoff efforts. He has some culpability in the 0-7, but his supporting cast in all series should share the blame. All the haters want to put it all on his shoulders, when last I checked, this was still a team game.

 

o Mcgrady was a big part but definitely wasn't the main reason for the long winning streak and an amazing 08 record... that main reason goes to Coach A and the rooks stepping up. Mcgrady played the same way he did in the first half of the season as he is playing now.

 

o no doubt they should share the blame but many of the Mcgrady apologists here say he could of done nothing more, or he has no blame in his 0-7 playoff record.

 

How was that UNDERMINING his teammates? Did he say his teammates suck? He just said McGrady helps them get open looks.. which is TRUE. You're better than that antisonic - I thought you were competent.

 

Yeah, Im sure he hates Scola , and couldn't be cursing to himself. If it were close enough for you to see, (which it wouldn't if it was the halfcourt camera at the time), it would be all over sportscenter and youtube. Somebody else would have seen it. Unless you have eagle eyes through a television there is no way you could've read his lips.

 

im tired of you...can't even support your own players after all they do, they play like **** (tonight) doesnt mean you give up...

 

t-mac has been playing like **** for a long time buddy... thats why im upset in him... I support my players and hope mcgrady can somehow manage to play like he did in his first season and his 3rd season as a Rocket, but the way Mcgrady has been playing in the last couple of months... he deserves his share of criticism.

 

Well if we are winning than it doesn't matter whether he scores 15 points or 50. If we win, we win. Tracy makes his teamates better, he sets all of them up for open looks. If we win with Mac scoring 15, his teammates must have picked up the scoring slack + more, therefore it doesn't matter.

 

its called criticism... a true fan doesnt blindly love his players and forget the player's downfall or weakness... Right now Mcgrady is a shell of his former self at the age of 29 which is scary...

 

You need to get a High Definition TV set.

Oh yeah, the leader of the team that was almost #1 and was for a while in the toughest conference in the history of the game, and the 2nd single longest winning streak in the history of the game must really suck. You mention that his teammates were the reason we have been winning, but dont mention them when we lose. If we win as a team we lose as a team. Your argument states that we win as a team and lose as Tracy McGrady. Doesn't make any sense.
