now is not the time of the year to be a b*tch. gotta support the team. if you hate tmac, then please don't watch and definitely don't start posting stupid posts. IT'S PLAYOFF TIME! NOW IS THE TIME TO BE A ROCKETS FAN NO MATTER WHAT!

it's a shame, some people are acting like this team hasn't played their hearts out this year for us. stop complaining about tmac not stepping up. it's time to step up as fans.

He is 29/6/7 career, not sure I would put that in the choke category.

Hell, his suposedly crappy series last year against Utah was 25/6/7.

Since he is primarliy a scorer, seems like he has done his part.

i didn't mean that. you know what i meant

T-Mac can even score 40/10/10 in playoffs and we can lose to anybody with other players not making shots

Actually that;s incorrect...Yao was playing half way through the streak.

T-Mac just doesn't have "it", the fire, the desire to get it done. He's an act.

    Per Tmac apologists,

Rockets 22 game win streak. Tmac led them to the streak.

0-7 in playoff series. It is a team game.

    NBA. Where accountability morphs.

sure he can score 50 by having 50+ attempts.

Oh yeah, 29 points 13 assists 5 boards and 3 blocks, with an atrocious 48% fg percentage, yeah horrible

Isn't a player bound to get lucky once? thats just a stupid argument.

guys look at TMAC playoff stats, it IS the 4 best in league history but i would like to argue that a guy cant just shoot like shiet and shoot the lights out in the playoffs, hes lost it, next yr is his last yr hopefully we can do something with yao back...

Really? Check his efficiency in the playoffs and compare them to one Kobe Bryant. I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised with what you find.

that's not the point. Remember Utah series? Who really stepped up besides Yao and McGrady (who btw were struggling too)

Those averages don't tell whether you drive instead of shooting jump-shots when you have a team in the penalty or if you shoot 38% to get 27 pts in game 7 of the dallas series. I'm wouldn't call him a choker but he definitely feels the pressure.

jesus ****ing christ!!!! Have you ever taken a god damn stat class??? The sample size for Mcgrady's playoff games are WAY TO ****ING SMALL to be labeled as "the 4 best in league history".... He hasnt gone past the 1st round... In fact Mcgrady isnt included in some all time ppg playoffs stats because he doesnt even reach the minimum number of games required....

Do you even know what a double standard is? That's an erroneous correlation - they ideologies behind them are not the same.

McGrady made the MVP list this year because traditionally the best players on the best teams always receive recognition. McGrady was clearly the best player on this team after Yao went down during the streak.

In the playoffs McGrady has had some unbelievable playoff series - game winning shots, great all around performances (including defense) but he's failed to advance primarily because his teammates haven't contributed in the least.

In both circumstances he's receiving recognition (or hate) due to the failings (or successes) of his team. How hard is it to understand that?

i have taken a stats class r****d what your saying is the more games he played the more his "Real" FG % stats would come out, but its a FACT he has done beastly in the playoffs, i doubt he would play any better than he is now...
