I will know if TMac is serious if he drives the ball in every chance he gets. He's the only player the Rockets have that has the ability to put his man and the whole Utah Jazz front line in foul trouble.

If he gets a minimum of 20 free throws in the first game, people will know where his heart is.

He gets less than 10 free throw attempts on the first game... pack it up, Rockets will lose the series and TMac has to go.

look at this. the score was 95-96 (utah lead). the jazz MISSED, and yao let boozer OUTJUMPED him on the spot and then okur hit the 3.

that was the game right there. we get that rebound, we go over and could have altered the way the game woudl have been played. okur's 3 killed all momentum.

First game... you are setting the tone brotha!

20 Free throws is only 10 fouls... that's 2 players in foul trouble if you do the math. Hopefully that's Boozer and Williams.

um those 10 fouls have to be SHOOTING fouls. can you ever remember who has shot 20 free throws in a playoff game outside of possibly shaq?

i don't ever remember a perimeter player doing that.

that was sad to see. Boozer outrebounded Yao twice on the offensive end. i'm glad Yao isn't playing.

the first and 3rd one were ALL on yao. he was not even touching boozer to box him out. but that first one KILLED us. we were down ONE. you saw the next play and we went down and got yoa to the ft line (tmac not shooting down the stretch was on design b/c they were single covering yao and yao was drawing fouls).

rebounding killed us. we must prevent that. we must play physical and dominate the boards.

the 2nd one was not his fault (that was rafer's and battier's).

Um. Ingrained hazy perceived memories win out over factual data every time. Didn't you get the memo?

Yeah we definately need Yao back cause without Yao we don't have the physical post presence that we need. We have Mutumbo but he can't score like Yao. But then what do I know. I guess not much so I'll defer to talking heads who are smarter than me.

THANK YOU AntiSonic. I hope you read my previous post and my opinions, because you're thinking exactly the same way I am.

Its time for rocket fans to unite. Let the hating stop. Karma is against us if this thread continues. YES it is against us.

Why would the basketball Gods be on our side when the fans don't appreciate their own team and roster who has arguebably performed the impossible to actually reach playoffs, go on a 10-0 without yao, and end up with the fourth best record in the west.

As for Copter, well I know Anti_Sonic isn't a fan of T-mac, but you're going too far. Way way way too far.

In fact, is it me or is Copter's hate reaching a level, so high, that he is actually cursing (or hoping) the rockets to lose the playoffs so that he can blame Mcgrady?

Im hoping for someone at the management to realize it isnt going to work with mcnoob in the team. Usually players when they are young drive endlessly to the basket, and when they get older, thier shot gets better and they prefer to take more jumpshots.

The only person I know that never changed for is probably iverson and drexler.

Mcgrady started throwing his 40 foot 3 pointers from several years ago. And he is not getting younger.

Well then maybe you should cursing or hoping the rockets will lose the playoffs because from the way you're talking right now you want the rockets to lose just so you can find more things to talk about?

I know I have a fair point here, and I'm sure millions here would agree with me. Copter just stop ok? You're going too far and if you're matured you should know its playoffs time. Why would you pick arguements in these moments where fans come together no matter what?

By the way, I don't want to base my arguement on this, and I don't want to argue at all. But T-mac has an injured shoulder, so you expect him to shoot until his jumper comes back. Take it or leave it, without t-mac, the rockets are going nowhere. So you can stuff your words up your ass until playoffs are over and cheer for the team instead of curse the players (or team) so you can find more reasons to justify your point

I have an idea, lets throw our best player under the bus just days before the playoffs start. Internet Rocket fans are cool.
