again, in the playoffs, even when he struggles, he will be aggressive. look at game 1 last yr. he had 1 pt at the half and came out determined and put his heart out there.

he would never do that in the reg. season. he would become passive when he does bad or when the team does bad.

the reg. season tmac is easy to criticize. but the playoffs tmac -> will come to play.

Everyone is pointing the finger at McGrady but look who his number 2 option is right now. Its a freakin rookie and i love luis but i do not think he is ready to play that role effiencetly. Even if we are ousted in the first round what do you expect when we play all these teams with atleast 3 all-star caliber players. T-mac will not only need to step but so will this whole team. Tmac will need to average 25+ and have about 5 other guys score 15+ every night.

    are you seriously kidding me?

name the list of players who have scored 29 pts and 13 assists that are non-PGs for me please?

do you really dislike tmac that much to think a lot of players can put up 29 and 13. name me players who have done that in the reg. season. and i'm talking about game 7 in the playoffs.

If he is such a loser with such a large salary, it seems we will not be able to trade him and get anything in return.

Lately? Well considering the playoffs haven't quite started yet. Nothing! So quit bashing him. The last two games have been tough but I really could care less if we won tonight or not because if we lose in the first round again it doesn't matter either way. If tonight were a game 7 and Mcgrady gave that kind of performance then sure bash him to death and I'll be leading but wait till the playoffs start. I am confident he's going to get his

keep telling urself that. the point is the t-mac now is a lot worse than the t-mac from 05. sure he'll try to step up, but he's much more limited physically and he wont have the same impact on the game as he had 2 years ago.

in a single game.... there have been instances when plenty of players had 30+ pts with 10+ assists.... it happends multiple times every season... Im sure vince, peirce, kobe, lebron, allen, redd, AI, melo have done it alteast once in their careers....

So your argument is based upon his salary? So the rest of the team should not be held accountable because their salary is less than T-Mac's? What solution do you have to fix this T-Mac problem. A trade? For who? What value does Ming have to the Rox if he can't stay healthy, no matter how hard he works?

Man you guys are worst than Benedict Arnold himself....
All you do is b**** and complain about something...

Say what you want about T-Mac but I have a new found respect for the man..... Since you guys are all into facts and stats here you go...

    FACT #1

Yeah T-Mac and the Rockets won 22 straight, but the impressive thing is how they did it and who they did it with.... T-Mac took a bunch of srcond stringers, rookies and Moses himself and won 22 straight games...

If you look at the record book with all the teams the Rockets are surronded with none... let me say this again NONE have done it with ONE SUPERSTAR!!!!!

    FACT #2

Neither MJ or Kobe was able to do what T-Mac did without a supporting cast... Both of them complained about not having any help and how heavy the load was.... And still these guys were not able to have a 22 game winning streak...

So let's look at this whole thing again...

No one... I mean no one expected this team to be where they are at after Yao went down; let's not even mention the playoffs. They expected them to fold up and call it a year.

T-Mac has taken a team with a defensive specialist, a rookie, a incosistenet pg and moses; and they still have a winning record

T-Mac is consistenly getting double teamed and beat up and also getting no respect from the refs when he drives. So basically when teammates like Rafer are not hitting.. That makes it triple hard on T-Mac....

Now does this mean that T-Mac has not stunk it up some nights no it doesn't. But this is a team game and he needs his teammates as much as they need him... The man has basically changed his game to get his teammates involved; instead of trying to be a one man team.

So while all of you are b****in and complaing about T-Mac... Take a look at what he has done... not a year or 2 years ago.... look at what he has done this year.

And for you *** who have come out of the woods and waited for this moment to bash T-Mac... I don't highly believe this team would be in the same position if the tables were turned and T-Mac was out instead of Yao.. This is meant to be no disrespect to Yao; but a lot of respect for T-Mac...

I'm so sick of threads like this. Either support the Rockets or shut up and wait til the end of the season for you to say "I told you so."

    Thanks.
