With this Dwightmare, was LeBrons decision really all that bad?

You know how everyone hates the hot girl that just knows she's hot? That's where the hate for Lebron comes from. Everybody familiar with North American sports has at least heard of Lebron James, and many know that Lebron James is "the real deal", hot shot, being-compared-to-Michael-Jordan superstar of the whole league, so for him to come out with this gigantic spectacle of him merely choosing what team to sign with...

I mean get out of here. We all know you're great, we all know you're rich, we all know you're the most important player in the league... so don't shove it in our ******* faces like a narcissist! His behavior showed a mixture of both self-awareness and lack of self-awareness. On one hand he knows he's important, but on the other he didn't realize he was being a huge ass regardless. Just like the hot girl who knows she's hot.

The only thing that Dwight handled bad was the debacle in leaving Orlando. THAT was bad...

Other then that being indecisive in free agency is fine and atleast he isn't going on national television to announce his decision.

    Hell no.

The Decision was just absolutely pathetic.

    LBJ knows that now.

dwight's handling it well. way better than lebron. he didnt flip flop during the season saying he'll stay with the lakers then go to the nets then mavs then baack to la. he's meeting with teams then gonna make a decision. thats a good way to handle it.

sucks everyone has to wait but that's not cuz dwight's "handling it like a little girl"

Lebron averaged 38 8 8 and his team lost. There isn't anymore Lebrun could have done for the cabs.

It's always going to be a big media circus when a franchise player of any major team sport is trying to change teams. I still think LBJ's decision was more publicized because he is one of the best players in the league while Dwight is one of the best centers in the league.

I am delighted with numerous mature opinios of clutchfans towards Lebrons The Decision and Dwights decisions as well
    I APPLAUD...

So guy put a a TV show with regards where he gonna play? why in the world he should be considered douchebag for putting such a show? nba is all about show, marketing and popularity and having fun...

Another thing, Howard is indecisive and he is playing hard to get and he is picky and dont know what he wants...and is prologing his FAgency over a period of 2 years...so what? he aint killed nobody...he aint robbed nobody...the guy is having fun, earning some money hes doing marketing and weighing his options...were all inhabitants of planet earth such douchebags as these 2 guys the earth would be heaven...

LeBron handled his free agency so much better than Dwight has so far and LeBron hasn't killed any coaches.

To be fair, Dwight hasn't done anything wrong, there's just so much impatience and media bs floating around.

Dwight is showing he learned from his mistakes and just cause he liked to be courted and apparently is not quick enough in making a decision, people blast him. He's doing the right thing here, he probably should not have said he wants to make a decision quickly. This is a big decision so take your time is what I would say. Now with the decision by Lebron, that was just arrogant and selfish, similar to the Dwightmare. Who knows how he will handle the situation next time. Both made a mistake, Dwight learned from it, let's see if Lebron has.
    It remains to be seen.

What Dwight did last year was really stupid. This year is normal.

You are full of crap. Dwight met with all interested parties on Monday and Tuesday, he'll make a decision today. It's going to happen.

LeBron took meetings while secretly working out a plan to end up with Wade and Bosh, not really giving the other teams a shot to sign him or make similar moves on his behalf. Then he went on live TV to announce his choice, on July 8th. Today is the 5th.

Not even close...no one ever handled free agency worse from a PR perspective than Lebron James.

Have you ever thought that perhaps he has been tight lipped, and that people are making stuff up and judging him based on the past?

Do you have the attention span of a gold fish? Do you not remember all the **** Dwight pulled in the last 3 years? What Dwight did is far worse than what LeBron did and it wasn't even close.
