I love DeAndre, but he's not quite as talented as Bledsoe.

Liggins will be a role player if anything, Bledsoe is good enough to be a starter.

I think Morey will draft an international player with this pick.

I have heard that Liggins is good on defense. If this is so, maybe he can become another sparkplug type player for us. Of course, this is if we use Lowry to move up in the draft.

Hate to say it since, as I've mentioned previously, the NBA draft is the lasting sporting event I may look forward to for the forseeable future, but the key word is not trade "up," but rather trade "out."

Depending on BPA (and yes one part is wishful thinking, or guys I like if the cupboard starts to get bare) in no particular order:

Whatever lottery talent that falls in our laps (of course)
either Morris Twin (as another poster said, if Marcus can play SF, fantastic)
    Kenneth Faried
    Reggie Jackson
    Chris Singleton
    Tobias Harris
Best Center available (whoever is on Morey's draftboard)

Just package the picks and something else if needed to move up and get Vesely.

i hope we don't keep the pick, but if we do, at #23 you take the Best Player Available, regardless of position.

    yeah we do.

This are the players under contract:
    Kyle Lowry
    Kevin Martin
    Chase Budinger
    Luis Scola
    Patrick Patterson
    Courtney Lee
    Goran Dragic
    Jordan Hill
    Terrence Williams
    Hasheem Thabeet
    *Brad Miller

Which leaves us with 4 roster spots open, and from the way Morey talked about not overpaying "glue guys" without a core, I don't think his going to be resigning Chuck. Also with Adelman gone, Brad Miller is as good as gone, so might as well make it 5 roster spots.

    I like Jordan Hamilton.

I think that it would be cool if the Rockets drafted him. I have NO IDEA really though where he may be slotted to be picked.

Ha has a nice shot though.

It seems like he's returning for his junior season.

I agree with Tobias Harris. Josh Selby also has high upside because of his high school days (but so did Xavier Henry when he was coming out). The problem with Selby is that 1. he can't run point, and 2. he can't shoot. He was highly rated for having unsurpassed penetrating ability. I don't think he fits the Rockets' mold because of this inability to run point rather than his inability to shoot (I mean look at Lowry).

I think he will try to resign Chuck but I certainly don't see him offering much more than he is making now. Maybe he will but I don't see it. Chuck wants to come back so I guess we will just see how bad Chuck wants to play here. He will probably get better offers from other teams.

I'd love JaJuan Johnson out of Purdue. A true 6-10/6-11 PF/C that averaged 20 points, 8 boards, and 2 blocks at a big time college program. Did I mention 1st team all american and Big Ten player of the year? I don't know why people don't talk about him more. I see him being talked about at this time next year as the "guy that everyone inexplicably passed on" (e.g. Dejuan Blair).

I like Faried too as a big bruiser.
