Wagner is labelled as being selfish. He's not as fast as Steve or Iverson either. He has more power though. He's taller than Iverson. personally, he's gonna be individually good, and never win a title (much like Marbury won't).....Also, I don't think Jason Williams should be picked as a franchise player...Maybe one of two frnachise players on the same team...

The Rockets don't have any glaring needs. My guess is they'll pick the player that fits the system best, with the greatest amount of talent, or they'll take a long term project (HSer).

With Moochie, Steve, and Cat locked up or soon to be locked up , and how much Rudy/CD like Torres, odds are they won't pick anyone under 6'8'', unless they really want a 3rd PG. Rice will have 2 more years as the starting SF, with Morris backing him up, so it's possible Rudy could gamble on a SF with their pick. Mo and Griff are certain to be key figures in the 4/5 rotation for years to come, along with probably Cato and/or KT, and Willis may stick around.

It'll be a sure-thing part of the rotation center, project center (if Cato shows pulse, or is traded for someone who does, or Willis displays ability to play multiple years into the future) or a SF.

I see Gadzuric as the only strong possibility for C, though others may rise, or fall into our range. As for SFs, watch Vincent Yarbrough, he will be only 21 when drafted (20 right now), and will have 4 years college experience. VERY explosive. Also a guy like a Caron Butler. Tayshaun Prince is a LONG SF that can shoot, and Rudy loves designated shooters like Jason Kapono.

Right now, I'd say Jason Williams is the best player in the class. The team that drafts Wagner must have the right parts to support him. Crawford/Wagner in the backcourt would be a nice combo for the Bulls. I think one of the sleepers of the draft may be Rod Grizzard. Reminds me of Steve Smith before the injuries. Good handles, quick, tall, and can shoot. He'll go lotto, but could become a franchise type wing player.

I think we're either gonna pick up our C of the future by trading our first round pick, KT and Collier for a higher pick, or a PF/C type project.

It's very simple. We're locked up everywhere, so we start replacing weaklinks. Kevin Willis, Jason Collier and Kelvin Catowon't make it in the West. We're strong everywhere else. Willis' contract ends, Collier still has to prove himself even if he does anything this year. Kelvin Cato, well, the PG and the coach have given up on him, so unfortunately, we may need to find an alternative. Yes, I still support Cato, but I doubt Rudy and Francis do.

At PG, SG, SF and PF, we're more than set. We may even have rotation problems. But we have to solidify the C position. Cato and the draft pick with a re-signed 40-yr old Kevin Willis being the 3rd string PF AND C while giving our young guys some tips.

LOL, looking at it now, there's no doubt we're gonna pickup a C.

It would...it would...but I'd almost rather trade the pick than take another project. The only top three or four player I'd want is Williams...but they say he doesn't want to play for Krause so I'd just as soon trade the pick for an established player like Wells or Rashard (will never happen) and a later pick or two.

As far as Wagner...Kobe WAS selfish at one time too though.

    Returning to Rockets bball...

It would be nice to bring Rashard home. Dump Rice and who ever else and bring Rashard back home.

If Griffin could be our center of the future, we should go after a sharpshooter to play SF. I think Mike Dunleavy would be a good pick up. Duke players tend to be solid on the fundamentals. Plus, the Rockets would have had both father and son on the team. How many teams can say that?

I do not think we have a pick this year. Unless I am forgeting something, we have to give Memphis our pick this year to complete the Francis deal.

In my opinion with 19th pick we just can't get any good center. We should rather pick another player for instance Jiri Welsch from Czech Republic. I've seen him playing in Euroleague and he is unstopable. I see him now as a backup shooting guard for Mobley instead of sucking Torres and in future as a first SG (then we sell superstar Mobley for some frontcourt superstar). I will nearer see Nachbar from Slovenia - he play some tough plays in Eurolegue. He is very similar to Toni Kukoc.

Just tell me that the pick is lotto protected and I'll be stoked. If it's really @ 19, it will be handed to Memphis pronto.

I don't know anything about college hoops or the class of 2002. All I know is that next year Jason Williams will probably be the number one pick. I just hope the Rockets can get a good big man.
