McHale was fired right before the 2009 draft which Curry was in. Just hired at-the-time GM David Kahn gets the blame for that one. Should have just drafted Curry instead of getting cute with Johnny Flynn. Would have been interesting to see a Rubio-Curry-Love trio develop.
