This may mean that Ace Bailey has a legitimate chance of dropping, and if he falls past the top 3, where does the free fall stop? Several other wings are killing it with pro days or, in the case of Essengue, with their play in actual games that matter.

Can somebody jack Presti’s scouting report notes?

If we intend to pick someone, I want us moving up for Edgecombe or Bailey by getting to 3.

#10, Cam and a future pick is fine with me.

Y’all think #10, 27 Brooklyn 1st and Cam Whitmore can bring in Trey Murphy?

I’d prefer him over what Booker will cost

Trey Murphy has a labrum injury.

The future pick should be lottery protected or at least top 10 protected. I'm interested in Edgecombe, not in Bailey.

Despite all the negativity around Ace (prima donna attitude, shot selection/efficiency, actual height/length a tad shorter than listed measurements), I still think he may be the highest upside pick in this draft. Has all the tools to be a great iso scorer, already has all the advanced secondary moves and counters on offense, still very athletic, and at 6'7" a 6'8" can be an effective two-way player (he does try on defense).

In the top 5-7 you can argue for going with another player, somewhat. But at 10... if he's still there, I would hope Stone has no hesitation in turning in the card to pick Bailey.

I hope this happens so we can have a Clutchfans pot going on when Ace Bailey gets legitimate non garbage minutes from Ime.

    Maybe year 3.

Haha that is true. Sad reality...

Sounds rather familiar... Cam Whitmore. Potential top 5 pick, multi-dimensional scorer with an advanced offensive game. Supposed attitude and a funny comment about his buddy Gradey Dick drops his stock. Then proceeds to sit his ass on Ime's bench.

How’s the recovery for that injury? Is it career altering?

I don't know. The effect of a labrum injury can last for over a year.

Kasparas Jakucionis Just looks like a steal at #10, he also be the shooter houston needs.

Plus has the point guard skills at 6'6 - Can pass . Nice

It will be interesting to see the type of prospect they draft if they keep the pick. Some of these guys look like they have offensive engine type potential while others look more like high caliber complimentary players.

He might be gone by the 8th to the Nets. The Rockets should scout him closely. It will be even better, if he works out for Houston.

I liked this mock draft presentation quite a bit.

I don't much care for Bailey .... I just don't get what all the hype is about. He reminds me of Jabari, not explosive, handles aren't very good, shot isn't all that good. He's "good" but doesn't do anything exceptional.

There's a handful of wings in this draft that have as much potential or more ....

Presti had a ton of busts under his belt. One or two massive hits can do wonders to a guy’s rep.

He reminds me of Reed Sheppard….too slow with no dribbling skills. Hard pass! Watched 3 hours of tapes of top players in Rockets range last night and have a new favorite. My next post will announce him. Currently, it was Egor Denim but I found out that he measured short at the combine and isn’t 6’10” and is 6’8”. Still tall for a point guard, but drops him to 12-14 range.

As promised, here is my new favorite after a three hour film session and it is a guy I surprisingly didn’t like prior to watching the tapes. Derek Queen!!! His moves are very Sengunish with a sprinkle of Hakeem. His game translates beautifully to today’s NBA. He fakes the three realistically and drives strong to the hoop and if doubled has all sorts of Sengun/Hakeem type footwork. He is a strong passer too and supposedly has the best hands in the draft. Complete package and delivers what the Rockets need most which is instant scoring. He’s 6’’10” and shoots 80% free throws. Lastly, he’s clutch. Watching his highlights, he always seems to be making game winning shots at the most critical end of game times. Not much more you can ask for at number 10. Also, saw a recent interview and he said his favorite team he’s always followed was the Rockets and he talked about how we would’ve beat GS when we had Harden if only Paul didn’t get hurt and he even mentioned the 27 missed threes in game 7….real fan!
