If the Rockets keep the pick (I'm hoping they do) then I'm looking at Rasheer Fleming, Yaxel Lendeborg and Cedric Coward. All 3 are upper classmen (21+), have defensive upside (all 7'+ 'spans) and all project to be plus 3pt shooters. I would love to get 2 of them (Pick up another pick in a Green or Whitmore deal).

Unless 2 of Jabari, Tari, Dillon go out in a trade where would they play. They would ride the bench or be sent to RGV.

Probably next season. But they'd be signed for 4 years on very team friendly deals. Losing a core piece to cap space is made easier when you have somebody waiting in the wings to step in whose been waiting their turn.

Maxime Raynaud is my perfect pick.

7-2 big who spaces the floor. He’s also legitimately smart and personality wise reminds me of Pau Gasol. He looks to be the next Brook Lopez type of big and as we saw with Quentin Post, these types of bigs can contribute immediately.

Just not impressed…..A lot of these players you guys are advocating for Cam is better than all of them. Yes he has maturity issues but a lot of that stems from the fact that he wants to play and he’s not playing. People want to continue giving Jalen chance after chance now going into his 5th year. Well Cam should be afforded that same leash because we have yet to see thoroughly what he can become. Just a shame to trade him for all these mediocre players in the draft.

I don't watch a lot of college ball, but what I did see made me think that Jase Richardson is a player. He's small, but I thought the group might like this comp:

Also liking what I see from Coward who appears to be less of a reach. Incredibly thoughtful in his interviews and has tantalizing upside.

I agree with you. I think that if we make a draft pick the person has to have an offensive “tint”. We have enough defenders clearly.

you don't need them to play immediately we just need guys in case somebody gets injured, traded or leave in FA.

I think now is the time for Stone to cash in some of his assets for FRPs. Cam Whitmore, Jock Landale, Tate. If I were Stone I would be trying to get more picks cuz some of these guys look like absolute steals.

Looking at our team though what we need is consistent perimeter scoring so my pick for no 10 would probably be Cedric Coward. Coward has been a consistently reliable shooter for 3 years in college now and given his height, athleticism and wingspan he should still be able to get his shot off in the NBA. Being an older rookie he should get some trust and PT from Ime.

We need someone who can shoot. Why not take a chance on someone with a similar profile to CMB but can actually space the floor too. No shortage of those kinds of players

    Carter Bryant
    Rasheer Fleming
    Cedric Coward
    Noa Essengue

if we can get a teens pick in this draft I'm ok taking a mulligan on Cam. He would be a star normally but probably not on Ime's team.

Yeah this draft really shines from 11-19 that’s were the value is. If we step away with 2 prospects in that range that would be great but losing cam is gonna sting when he starts filling up the stat sheet for his next team
