Let's put it this way, just imagine T-mac as Michael Schumacher, the great F1 driver! While driving with a so-so Benetton car, imagine it as a houston rockets now without yao ming, a good driver is still able to drive his car to victories.

Now imagine yao as a powerful ferrari race car. Without a good driver ala T-mac, the powerful ferrari car(yao) can still win some races. But with a perfect driver like T-mac, the ferrari team (Yao +Tmac) are able to win more championships!

What I trying to say here is Yao as dominant as he is now still need a good playmaker(driver, i.e. Tmac) to win more games!

Both T-mac and yao are MVPs in my mind, doesnt care how others/haters said or think! Is always good to have TWO MVP caliber players in your own team!

Without Yao - were good enough to beat most teams....
WITH YAO - We are classified as an elite team and can take on anybody in a playoff series - Pheniox included

the way the team is going and with the type of injury yao is coming back from. i hope jvg doesn't over rely on him too much and too early.

i'm curious if yao can play an adjusted ben gordon type role.

it's a make or break season for jvg but yao has long future ahead of him in houston.
