Most of the cap experts on here have already stated there is virtually no way to pursue C-webb without renouncing the rights to Dream.
I don't think Dream would hire a new agent to sign for the veteran minimum.
Also I think you are underestimating how good the Spurs are. Duncan is slightly better than C-webb and as much as I hat eto say it Dream is better at this point in his career than Dream (most of it has to do with injuries more than output or ability). Anderson is a better all-around player than Mobley (Mobley is better offensively). Only advantage we have is at PG with Francis.
Even if we could sign C-webb & Dream (which apparently we can't) the Spurs still have better team chemistry.
If we sign C-webb it would be a 2 year transition getting 2 stars to work together.

Webber or no Webber the Rockets need a Center. Shaq, Robinson, Mutombo, E. Johnson, & A. Davis are all still playin' ball. We need someone AT LEAST as good as Earvin Johnson. Right now I think I'd rather have Johnson over Cato. Kelvin, are you listening?

Webber would guarantee a playoff berth. A quality Center means we get past the second round. Without this upgrade, we're not THAT much better than the Kings.

What is the statue of Eldon Campbell with the Hornets (is he a FA anytime soon)? He's playing ok in the playoffs and seems like a good second tier center.
I agree with gater that we do need at least a reliable center, and in a perfect world possibly even two vets who can play. King of like the Lakers PF combo of Horry-Grant. There not great but they are both average PFs.
