    Im curious to know as well. Apparently you can find guys to replicate the overall defense to the level of Ariza/LMM fairly easily. Judging from the FA list thats available thats going to be pretty difficult

    If they don't have a secret plan to trade Anderson for someone like Bazemore (who honestly is still too short to replace Ariza/Luc against KD) - we have big problems.

    It's crazy how just one year later everyone is mad Melo MIGHT finally become a rocket. Have you seen how OKC plays? Our offense will make Melo a way better fit than all your doubters think. Ariza choked in came 7...he could not hit crap. And Luc sucked in the playoffs. I hate that they are gone but go to roll the dice and make out team better. So hopefully that is what will happen. I still believe in our team.

    I swear every offseason fans go nuts over every small thing. Around the same time last year everyone was freaked out because the Rockets traded half their roster for CP3 so they clearly would have no depth. Oh noes, we gave up too much for CP3! What will we do without Sam Dekker? Or Montrez Harrell? Or Lou Williams?

    Would you consider Al-Farouq Aminu an upgrade over Ariza as new starting SF?

    Ryno for AFA + Evan Turner works cap-wise

    PORT saves a little cash this yr
    Ryno & ET both 2 yrs left
    Mostly they seem as sour on Evan as OKC is on Melo
    Would prob insist we take Meyers for Ryno tho

    Not an ET fan myself
    But he would provide a better scoring option at backup PG than MCW for 10 MPG
    Plus can play 2 or 3 mins if needed

    Always loved AFA
    Only 1 yr @ $7M left
    Seems like Ariza when we signed for Rd2 4 yrs ago

    Then still have MLE for Melo
    Get Ennis @ 1 yr Min

    CC Nene Chee
    Melo PJ
    AFA Green Ennis
    JH EGo
    CP3 ET MCW

    LOST
    Ariza - Luc - Ryno - JJ - PG#3
    vs
    ADD
    Melo + AFA + ET + Ennis + MCW

    See no reason that Net trade-off can't keep us Top2 in West

    I doubt that's true. Melo is not a type that run up and down and jacking up shots. I mean even with OKC, they run up and down too but not like Houston. Houston running up and down is a nightmare for Carmelo's offense. He's the type that like to take his time before jacking up a shot. Also i think he will be tired out too fast and his defense (if there is any) will deteriorate.

    You go young and find guys hungry to be in the league. Bring them in, let them play D and shoot only. It’s easier said than done, but Morey has done it and will do it again.
