Hey just tossing out ideas, had to get the expert advice from the Clutchfans community. I knew that everyone on this forum was an expert so what better place to throw out a random question. I will start making threads dedicated to what kind of toliet paper Bosh will buy when he comes to Houston maybe that will suit you a bit better. I for one would assume that one of them stays if not two seeing as how Scola is a FA but who knows.
I've been thinkingabout Deng and his place in chicago. Bima can maybe clear this up a bit,but a trade of trevor, anderson, and taylor for deng gives the bulls and extra 2.75m to work with. Deng is a really good, young, productive player under contract for 4 more years. He's a very good defender, great mid range shooter, rebounds for his position, and plays well moving off the ball.He has also performed well in the playoffs which is very important. It would be a upgrade for the rockets and give the bulls a 5th option sf on a mle and players to fill out the roster while the try to get 2 max free agents.
Actually it can be done. NBA rules allow for each team in a trade to break a deal into multiple deals (as long as each is legal) while allowing other teams in the trade to either view it as a single deal or even different multiple deals. There's several examples that have been discussed in recent threads but the Dallas trade for Jason Kidd is a recent one. . The Mavericks will send New Jersey the semi-retired Keith Van Horn in addition to Trenton Hassell, as well as Devin Harris, DeSagana Diop, Maurice Ager, two first-round picks and cash. In the exchange, Dallas will get Kidd and Malik Allen The big winner in this is Van Horn, who has been out of the league the last 1 1/2 seasons. Dallas still owned his rights, so his involvement is essentially to make the numbers work. He'll be signed then traded -- and, like Kidd, he'll be heading back to his original team. It's unclear whether he'll actually play for the Nets, but it seems unlikely. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/basketball/nba/02/17/kidd.trade/index.html
