This was one of the biggest down-ballot snoozefest elections I've ever seen, so, temper your enthusiasm for Sears, Miyares, etc. Nobody voted for them. This was just another "did the last general election piss you off" temperature check.
My sister-in law who lives in Fredericksburg VA told me, since the victory, everywhere she goes, people are still talking about it and are extremely excited. The exit interviews that I have heard from the Dem voters, I don't think they get it why people are angry and they want a change. 2022 will even be a worse drubbing for the Dems. I may agree with you on Miyares, but not on Sears.
