I won't put an asterisk next to their reg season record or if they win the title, but I will put it next to this record.

    impressive

never even would've believed that the warriors would be nba champs in 2015 if someone told me this 5 year 4 year 3 years 2 years or even this year. And I own a few "we Believe shirts" too.

(also... I know the nba finals arent over yet and the warriors still have to win 3 outta the next 6)

Impressive. That's quite an accomplishment. Have to give them credit even though rocket fans dislike them at the moment.

First off, the reddit post is wrong. The 72 Lakers were 69-13, then went 12-3 to win the title. So they were 82-16

Plus, the only reason there aren't more teams at 80-20 is because historically there was less playoff games. This reddit post is not comparing apples to apples.

For instance, the fo fo fo 76ers were 65-17 then 12-1 to go 77-18, and they would have had another 4-0 series in this era to be 81-18

At only three playoff series, GSW doesn't make it. They'd only have 79 wins prior to the 4th round Game 1 victory

This Warriors team is really good, but they don't hold **** on the '86 Celtics. Who played at a time when the talent pool was much less diluted.

Why? I just don't understand this hate? Lebron leaving to go play with talent in Miami deserves asterisks before this GS Team.

What did GS do wrong? Besides destroy everyone the played

Yes and no. There were very few foreign players in the talent pool in those days. Now the pool is much bigger. The talent in those days concentrated in three or four teams. Now they spread out to about five or six teams.
