I don't know... they could have been a hell of an offensive team as all Hobbits can throw with accuracy... every play would be a pass followed by a series of laterals... that'd be fun to watch.

The only problem is the other team cleating those big feet.

So, you'd have no problem throwing a freshman team against a varsity team all year long?

Once again, I'll defer to the guy with 28 years of high school coaching experience who has actually seen these guys play rather than a bunch of people posting on a message board who probably don't even know what state this is in.

    Somebody misses the D&D!!

Maybe they just need a new coach to get their MOJO back. My heart is full, gentlemen. My heart is full.

Look, if you quit because of safety, you're saying the game should not be played. It is a dangerous game. In practice every day and in every town that has HS football, little JVers and freshmen are getting beat up by the varsity.

In fact, the solution in this case might be to combine Varsity and JV (they have a small number of players) and just play the JV schedule with everybody on one team.

    But you don't quit.

At least in Texas, I think there are age requirements about who can play on JV and Varsity, not sure here.

Oh my bad. I guess I forgot one couldn't disagree with the majority in this forum! Whoopsie.
