I agree. Not to say it isn't great that Oprah has donated whatever amount she has. But in general, all she ever talks about just seems like a bunch of crap to me. To each their own.
Me neither But normally, I don't want to critisize people when they are doing something good. Coz I am afraid that my personal feeling might hurt my objectivity.
I never said it was meaningless, clearly more money is better for the charity, and the people in need, my point is that it will not effect her as much as some other people. Oprah - ah never mind...tired subject. DD
Personally I think the Mayor of New Orleans AND the Governor of LA should be giving the apologies......NOT GW Bush. Clearly the city and the state should have been far better prepared for this type of impending disaster. The first thing both of them did after this happened was to finger point and place blame on the Bush administration rather then taking full responsibility. As far as Oprah goes......good for her if she donated but she should stick to her talk show which IMHO is one of the reasons why our divorce rate is so high in this country.....LOL
