haha yep. but seriously...anyone? this is driving me nuts. like half my monitor isnt even in use...i tried going to display to change...nothing. i don't need to update my graphics card drivers again do i?
Honestly I don't even give a crap. Anybody that really thinks they have privacy are pretty naive if you ask me. lol @ the people that really are going through their settings to turn off privacy.
erm. They are not talking about online big brother privacy. There are some of us that prefer not to have our whole history showing up at a glance.
i only waited like 3 days to have my download verified and took about an hour to upgrade. everything works fine for me
Are you using two displays? If so, Win+P and choose extend. Duplicate with two displays of different native resolution will cause one to have black borders.
Okay, so anybody that wants to do a clean install of windows 10, I've got the procedure. 1. You MUST install windows 10 over an existing windows OS (7, 8, 8.1). 2. Next you must download windows 10 media creation tool from Microsoft as stated above. 3. When you began installing windows 10 from the media creation tool, each time it asked you for a product key, click either skip or do it later. 4. Once windows is install go to the activation feature on windows and click GO TO STORE. 5. At the store you are going to see upgrade to windows pro, click it and let it install. Once it installs your windows will be activated. (Don't click on the 119.99 at store, obviously). This last step stumped me, because it isn't mentioned anyway. Also, I think because the media creation tool and windows 10 pro are wholly different versions, is why the last step is important.
Didn't really go through post by post, but I did a clean install with the direct download of the iso. Didn't face any issues. I only did a clean install because I had so many problems with the upgrade in place. After a few days I went this route. Not a major Windows user, but if I was I'd be thrilled, it's a great step up.
