People have to realize their starter asking price will be Amen AND Sengun plus all the draft picks, then ask for one or two of Bari/Tari/Reed...etc. Team will be so top heavy with KD and Giannis, that Rockets will turn into the Bucks. ESPN is just saying things to put stars together.
They’ll ask but I wouldn’t give up Reed. Sengun, Tari, Cam and all the picks should be enough. Sengun is a young all star big on a great contract, he has huge value.
I think we got the piece we need for the next year or so. I would prefer keeping our young guys and future picks. Add a FA SG or 3 and D guy that can play against other 2's and we are good. If we are not going to play Cam, trade for whatever future first you can get and don't be surprised when he averages 20+ ppg.
If you have a chance to acquire Giannis for mostly depth pieces, you do it every single time. Remember when Morey refused to give up PJ Tucker in a deal for Jimmy Butler? We’d have won a championship.
Giannis isn't going to want to play with a lesser tier than Sengun at the 5. Follow his comments for the past couple seasons.
I’m not sure I’d trade for Giannis. Only way I’m letting go of Sengun is for Luka and we know that isn’t happening. I say roll the dice with FVV/Reed - CP3? Amen/Cam Jabari/Tari KD/Tate/Green Sengun/Adams I mean I’d take my chances on that team vs anybody.
I will continue to pray that this is just reporting for content and not what the rockets actually want. It would be a complete disaster.
you know he will be "SO HAPPY" in Milwaukee.. All those Balenciaga fits he has will be perfect for the cold weather. @J.R.
this must be the part of the script where everyone acts like they’re against a particular move then start loving it after it’s been done like what just happened with KD *before the trade Do u want KD? https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/kevin-durant-yes-or-no.326663/ 34% yes 66% no *after the trade Are u happy with the KD trade? https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/are-you-happy-with-the-kevin-durant-trade.326719/ 89% yes 11% no
Was down for KD at the right price. Am down for Giannis at the right price. But the likelihood of that happening is slim.
Leave you with Fred and 4 forwards - Giannis, KD, Bari, Amen. Plus a backup 5 in Adams and some benchwarmers. No starting center. No starting or backup SG. No good future picks as currency to fill out the rotation. That would be terrible roster management by Stone. He wouldn't make that mistake.
Why do they always insist on mentioning Miami when it comes to trades for stars or big names? How many times do we have to see that they're not serious? IB4 "Miami wants Giannis, but is unwilling to include Herro or Bam in a potential deal"
With a history of knee injuries. And the way he plays makes him more injury prone. So if you gut the team for Giannis and KD retires in 3 years, you’re left with what you’re left. Window short and closed. And you won’t be able to compete with teams like the Spurs and Mavs whose stars have yet to hit their prime.
