Congrats on your new position! As a 30+ year Rockets fan, the one area I feel has not gotten enough in depth coverage is how the internal workings of the GM's office as a whole works, and more specifically who does the analytics and scouting, who they are and how they go about doing their work. I recognize that you may be somewhat limited as to what is revealed, but any "insider" look would be fascinating. Good luck!
I really like that we got a good bit younger this offseason. With an exception with Melo, we replaced what we lost with younger players with some good upside. Ennis, Knight, MCW, and Chriss are all player that might not have the experience as Ariza or Luc but you can see how they could contribute to the team. While I did like the veteran savvy-ness of last years’s squad, I was definitely worried about the age of the group especially if we were going to lock ourselves in. I think it’s obvious that Morey felt the same way and went for some youth to surround our Big 3. If only CP3 was 3 years younger, this team and core would look so amazing. Picture adding Ariza and TC in the buyout market, heads will explode lol
