Bazemore needs to learn some humility if he comes crawling back to Houston.

We might need to force him to join clutchfans and then put everyone on ignore except for @tinman

KI: Houston is still active on trade fronts, perusing the market for a wing defender, and remains interested in Kent Bazemore of the Atlanta Hawks—according to a person with knowledge of the situation. I'm sure Kent is one of many names they're considering. Doesn't (necessarily) mean Atlanta is interested.

 

While I'm not a fan of Bazemore and his big contract, obviously DM is. And, I have no doubt we would be much better with Melo, Bazemore, and Ennis. I know he can stick it from downtown, and D up.

That said, I would pass.

 

Atlanta is in the cap space, asset gaining phase.

Ryno for Bazemore works straight up but the Rockets 1st isn’t exactly intriguing as it’s basically a early 2nd rounder.

We are talking about dumping a sh’tty contract of Ryan ****ing Anderson for a guy/contract also in a bottom feeder / lottery team that they want to get rid of.

JR you should probably dig out the tweet by Clutch, this trade suggestion was long mentioned before the FA period in July.

 

The Rockets probably put off the signing of Melton to see if he's needed in the deal.

 

Can’t give up Melton this early even though he’s overrated on here.

Costs efficient guys like him and Hartenstein could be valuable since you guys are capped out for the next two years.

 

I would be willing to give up Ryan ( or course) and whatever combination of Nanu , Qi , and future picks ATL wants ( within reason )

I dunno if I would trade hartenstein or Melton. Those two have bright futures IMO

True.. and with them being signed to 3 year deals if they can contribute a year from now that’s two years of contending with them on cheap contracts

I'm not that high on Bazemore but he's realistically the best you can expect for Anderson(+filler). Mostly everything else is fantasy @J Sizzle

 

Ryno and a 1st round pick for Kent? Would Hawk do this? I mean, they took on Jeremy Lin for nothing

I keep seeing all these wings mentioned as potential trade partners for the Rockets but they are all by these non legit sources.

 

I think Windhorst has proven he's legit.
