    I don't know how I feel about trading a package consisting of Gordon+ probably a 1st for Paul George unless he gives you confirmation that he'll stay at least 3 years (which he won't). This makes us huge players in 2018 free agency tho.

    Gordon, Capela, and a couple of 1sts is hard to beat unless Boston is willing to seriously up their offer.

    Already been discussed. The moment Anthony and Wade are bought out, they will be signing with Houston. Trust the process.

    Capela isn't a great fit for Indy as the primary asset coming over, because they have Myles Turner. You'd probably need a third team to flip Capela to for an equivalent asset to Indy.

    One problem is, trading away the bench and team that was 1st in the league is going to have big ramifications. At a certain point getting rid of those guys and adding PG + CP3 becomes a negative. I'm sure Morey has looked at vets etc though and knows this well.

    If we are trading for Paul George, then Capela is almost surely the centerpiece of the deal, along with Gordon.

    Indiana: Gordon, 1st from 3rd team
    Houston: George
    3rd Team: Capela

    Don't want to see Capela traded, nor do I think Morey wants to trade him. We somehow, either directly or with the help of a 3rd team, need to trade either Anderson and Ariza/Gordon plus overseas prospects and/or picks to get George. If we can do that, we are on pace to win 65-70 games next season and be the only real threat as of now to the Warriors!

    Melo
    Capela

    Bench should have one of Ariza or Gordon left possibly, and hopefully we could still sign Nene before trying to add others.
