    Of course. I'm just saying that if our best shot at a super team is those 3 guys with heavily limited depth, and there's no other choice, then I can live with that for a season. Doesn't mean we quit on that season. Just accepting we may lack the depth.

    My wife and I finally got away from the little ones (first time ever) and are supposed to be relaxing at some oasis destination take all my money spa crap thing, where cell phone usage is supposed to be "limited" but I can't keep away from all this news.. I'm thrilled, wife is pissed.

    Maybe I'll send her off to another spa while I spend an hour glued to my electronic devices...

    Thats what I'm thinking though. All it would take is Indy calling Magic and being like "Hey we're about ready to send Paul George to Houston, Boston or Cle" and then Lakers would up the offer. Again, Lakers know Cavs and Rockets offer cant be that great so they don't have to worry about losing Ingram or Ball or a future lottery pick. They haven't upped their offer yet cuz they haven't had reason to, but like you said, if its to a contending team like Cle or Houston, I think they would improve their offer and part with a Randle or Clarkson......
    Again, what do I know, I would have put a crazy amount of money saying CP doesn't choose us.

    I'd prefer Hayward over George, actually. He's younger, a better passer, would be locked up for multiple seasons rather than being a possible one year rental, and hasn't shown any attitude. I hope we have his interest at this point.

    Actually we traded Lowry for a pick and then traded that pick for Harden - so both are right on that end.

    He did leave out Kevin Martin though.

    Thank you Morey for being with us, my concern is of course these players are ball dominant but if Gs can do it then these guys will too. They are the right age and mindset to buy in.

    Don't be silly.

    Rockets were at their best before Lou even joined the team, and as good as Beverley is, Chris Paul is one of the best point guards to ever pick up a basketball. Dekker and the pick are basically inconsequential, especially if more pieces (eg. George) fall into place.

    Melo would only come here if he gets bought out IMO...we can't waste our assets trying to trade for his huge salary

    Morey is focusing all of his attention on Paul George, that's upping the risk factor and forming a legit Big 3
