I think we get outbid on any George trades, Celtics just have too much purchase power. Even if we flat out traded everything we have... which would be something like Gordon and Ariza for two 1st, then package the picks with Capela to the Pacers, Celtics still dominate that offer with ease, I even think the Cavs could get more out of Love.

Now with Anthony, I feel like the scenario where he gets bought out with an agreement that the Rockets sign him to a 3 year full MLE sounds pretty realistic, cuts NYK a nice break with the contract we offer, gives the Rockets Anthony's bird rights in 3 years to re-sign him to an overpay contract to makeup for some of the lost money.

The best avenue to get Melo is signing him for peanuts after he's bought out by Knicks. S&T Ryno with NG TPE for George.

 

I think the Rockets are resigned to the fact we just don't have the assets for George so we are waiting for the Melo situation to resolve. After that Millsap will become a prime target if the Hawks are willing to take Anderson. Anderson's contract would require a few 1st rounder to be shipped out normally but if the Hawks feel they will lose Millsap for nothing then they might bite.Anderson and his stretch four game is an ideal fit in Buds offense in Atlanta.

 

Atlanta is rebuilding and also said they want flexibillity.

I see no chance of getting either PG13 or Millsap.

A team like Denver if they struck out for their search PF like Millsap might bite on Ryno because he fits their style to stretch the floor.Denver has the cap space as well.

 

I can see the rockets going all in on a rental star like boogie, cp3 is only here for next year and Morey is swinging for the fences if no bites and the Pelicans start out slow next year look for them to move cousins

 

Not through trade, anyway. Maybe something can shake out if cap-space-having Sacramento wants its hometown boy Ryno; but I don't know what assets we have left to throw into such a trade.
