One question on the STANDINGS though..New Orleans is currently #3 over Utah. Do you know why that is? I thought the 3 division leaders get the top 3 spots?

 

They haven't updated the standings from yesterday's games as yet.

 

Wrong. Division leader is one of the top 4 seeds not top 3. Three division leaders and next best record are top 4 seeds, which are ranked according to their record.

 

Yep, the old Mavericks rule, to stop teams from the same division meeting in the 2nd round if they have the best 2 records.
